Na’kari [ the second scroll ]

may you dream of faraway lights,
warm lights of stars just as bright as you,
stars that burn their lights in shadows and nights;
just as you do...
singing the anthem of dawn at the first sight of dew.
so when you do...wake up tomorrow,
do make some tea out of the lights of morning and milk.
sip by sip breathe it in this world without sorrow,
and while you gaze out the window,
let the sun find your beautiful self with its touch made of silk.
remember to feel every step that you take,
for the earth that you walk has scars deep within the ages.
bloody scars of the people that fought over it only to break,
as their spears and guns shattered;
so when you walk, see the earth as a book - we're its pages!
feel free to smile to people today- smile to me!
do it so that I, or everybody else for that matter,
can give something back to you - let's say...a cup of tea,
chocolates, maybe candies,
or some kind words and smiles mixed together for wind to scatter.
touch the last breath of the twilight
with your eyes fully closed and your mouth ready,
to receive the first kiss that the night can steal from the light;
...then go to sleep,
walk your dreams with a pace that is curiously rushed and yet steady.
...just like you!

Ma'tz.

you're that fifth element
which my sixth sense
fails miserably in every attempt
to discover your scent
for the simple reason
that the streets you walk
are streets no more
but rivers that flow and bent
at the whim of your will
and arm, even finger...
it's troublesome, really,
to discover bits of your trails
when you have the world as your garden
and it's covered in veils
resembling those mystic lores
like myths and tales
from which you're supposed to learn
that it's more about quest then treasure
but be as it may and call me selfish
for wanting you all for myself
that perfect smile, the laugh,
the naked ankle and sun burned skin,
and those treacherous eyes
painted jade that could lose oneself.

I'm not alone on this quest, no,
there are others up on their horses
searching this Earth night and day
for footprints lost in the sand
'coz how can you forget a foot made of silk
knitted by elves long forgotten?
you don't! you hold on to it,
hoping she'll come back again by sea or by land.

despise of the things
they all say about you being gifted,
they are wrong...and not,
maybe because you're more than gifted, you're a gift
and the things you do,
making them feel like toddlers in awe of their candies
while to me, you make my whole universe spill itself,
my existence you tilt and you shift
with that reach of you will,
and arm, even finger...
until things sow themselves to the time's table
the order it's convenient for you
which, to be honest,
never made much sense to me, but then again,
you're not making much sense to my heart either
and the sky still has clouds and the sky it's still blue

although I know this world
won't stop it's spinning for me
I trust that you'll stop me
from spinning this world
'coz I grew quite fond of tracking
the scent of your pace
while searching for markets
where your shadow's being sold.

for a change , I'd like to see you walk,
not in front of me but beside,
your hand searching mine
for I want to taste that smile in it's full beauty
also, it'll  have to be at night
so I can see your whole body glow from the moonlight;
that and a kiss in a place of you choosing,
let's say...my lips, for my epic work and duty.

Dan'ior Lina

don't struggle anymore, just let it fall...
let the night fall heavy on your shoulders
coz' I know for a fact that the marble you're made of
it's even tougher than the ones known as your moulders,
for the marble you're made of is pure and white,
as their hands are full of gold, much as your eyes;
eyes that burn so hot they make the Sun look cold and small.
through those flames I've seen demons swirls and rise,
as they've seen the sins made by this world and more...

while it falls, the night, pull it over you tight,
cloak yourself into it, let its stars brush off your chicks,
and the moon touch your heart so the moon again be bright
for your soul is sheer light, a safe haven from the blight.

your mouth still draws the best smiles I’ve seen in ages,
watching you smile it's watching roses blooming on your lips,
it's awing and addictive as you're wearing the colour of red wine
and one does not simply drink your wine in little sips.

next time you decide to see the whole world in your hand,
with its flaws, spinning, full of wonders but slow,
don't use a dragonfly's wings and eyes, use your own,
as the wind vowed to give you wings and your eyes already glow.

when you're off again, dancing naked on lost shores of lost lakes,
send me word so I can come and write off that beauty you hold
in your dance with the night as a partner, that and more...
for the night is young, you're full of youth and you are bold!

Na'hele Bica'na

I'll be blunt and fair: you baffle me!
In a subtle yet stunning way,
You managed somehow to express true beauty,
With simply being and made is seems like child's play.

I've read about it once in a long forgotten book,
That what you hold, it's more than beauty and being pretty;
It's something different and holds a deeper meaning,
You as a being, you're Nature's way of being witty.

Regarding those gems you call eyes and use to sight the whole world,
Many sank in their spell while trying to reach out to you,
And I do think the Flying Dutchman won't be needing crew for a while;
Because of the beautiful curse known as your eyes and the ravages they do.

I believe that above else, you're a wanderer,
Through the hearts of men at your own pace you walked down
On their pride and hopes which, as thin ice, broke under your heel;
And still, they pledged allegiance to your crown.

About your glorious smile, they talked over and over,
Thousands of poets trying their best to paint it in words with their ink,
But how can you write something that blooms out in the moonlight?
The Ninth Wonder of Earth some say, others: the blind ones, just saw  a blink...

Of your name I've heard long before I even heard of you.
It was written in gold on a falling Pheonix feather in the mist of twilight,
And just like your touch it was soft, warm and  forever eternal;
Na'hele Bica'na, a name that it’s both pure and bright.

Nadil’ama

You call me kind but, to be honest, the truth is
i find myself hopeless every single time
i get lost in your eyes and I find it a bliss,
...when i can't call it a crime.

I remember you, yes, I remember you clearly,
Back from the days when I thought of you as shy,
A mistake for which I paid dearly
While counting stars till my lips ran dry.

Now that you've blossomed, witness of twenty one autumns,
I don't dare to question your beauty nor do I try
To defy the angels that from the height of their columns
Prey upon chance you'll gaze back at them as they die.

Haze of a strong, sweet and yet bitter scent rises slowly from your lips,
And I sense coffee, strong, hot and brown; much like your eyes,
In which, at night, whirlpools of stars are pulled under a full eclipse;
During the day, your eyelids keep trapped inside a thousand skies.

I asked the wind if poems written by time on your neck
Are still true, still full of wonders and gests of the new;
If your skin is still soft as the first snow falling on deck,
It laughed, the wind, without telling me if i'm worthy the view.

From your pace I could make the time's new golden gears,
For the whole world to forget the meaning of haste,
And for a while, breath it in, the dust of those years
They lost while chasing their lives, forgetting the taste.
