Na’kari [ the second scroll ]

may you dream of faraway lights,
warm lights of stars just as bright as you,
stars that burn their lights in shadows and nights;
just as you do...
singing the anthem of dawn at the first sight of dew.
so when you do...wake up tomorrow,
do make some tea out of the lights of morning and milk.
sip by sip breathe it in this world without sorrow,
and while you gaze out the window,
let the sun find your beautiful self with its touch made of silk.
remember to feel every step that you take,
for the earth that you walk has scars deep within the ages.
bloody scars of the people that fought over it only to break,
as their spears and guns shattered;
so when you walk, see the earth as a book - we're its pages!
feel free to smile to people today- smile to me!
do it so that I, or everybody else for that matter,
can give something back to you - let's say...a cup of tea,
chocolates, maybe candies,
or some kind words and smiles mixed together for wind to scatter.
touch the last breath of the twilight
with your eyes fully closed and your mouth ready,
to receive the first kiss that the night can steal from the light;
...then go to sleep,
walk your dreams with a pace that is curiously rushed and yet steady.
...just like you!
